Courtney is an OBGYN from Colorado who specializes in Obstetrics and Gynecology. During residency training, it became clear that the medical system does a great job supporting patients in the pregnancy period, but the postpartum period is a vastly different story. Courtney is also a certified nurse Midwife, and women’s health practioner. Katie is a Registered Nurse with a Masters in Midwifery and Women’s Health – she is also a mother of 4 children of her own and understandds the strong conenction between empowerment and postpartum mental health. She has worked in home and within the medical-surgical units providing childbirth care.
